Court availability

As mentioned in my email last week, the courts will NOT be available this Friday evening at Nissan Arena. Please attend training on Monday or Wednesday instead. All these changes are out of our control, and we’re doing our best to give you as much notice as possible so you can adjust your plans. On our website under Training, you’ll find a list of days and locations in case a particular venue is unavailable.

When you arrive

Each week, could everyone please come to Court 5 when you arrive. We will be ticking off names so we can keep track of attendance and manage numbers for each session. Then doing our warm up and splitting into groups

Complete Training sessions

I’ve attached the training sessions—if you haven’t filled in your availability, please do so. This helps us ensure we have the right number of coaches each day and avoid overcrowding on the courts. As we haven’t been able to use the Runcorn State High School courts this term due to their roof replacement, we’ve had to reduce our numbers by over 100 members. We’re very mindful of how many children are on the court.

If you have not completed the form stating when you are coming to training, please complete the form below as we will using this to check off names.

This is especially important for Mondays, as there are two time options and the courts are not side by side. We need to balance numbers and finalise groups. When you come to your training session we will mark off who is attending and this will be done at court 5 when you enter.

Games and Singlets

Games will start this week for everyone and the draw will be out on Wednesday. If you are playing games, you would have received a link to Basketball Connect in your "welcome to your team" email so you can check your times, please check your junk if you cannot find it. We also attached the link to order your singlet. As mentioned previously, for the winter season we’re aiming for all Under 8 and Under 10 players to have their own personalised singlets. I hope you’ve all been enjoying Nissan Arena. There is a pump available at the front counter if you need your ball pumped. I will also be bringing shorts and T shirts for those who have placed orders, so please come and collect them from me at the end of the session.

Each year normally in season 1 we have a movie day so we will be looking at what movies are coming out and determine if we should have our movie day this term or next season.
