Hi all,

As this is the last week of Term 1 I thought we could go through some important updates and events happening in April.

Please take note of the following:

1. We do have training this week (not Friday) but no games this Friday and Saturday, March 29th and 30th.

2. Saturday, April 6th: We will be having a fun session for players under eight, under ten, and under twelve.

3. Exhibition Match April 6th : We have an exciting exhibition match against Toowoomba. It will feature the under 18 boys and girls, under 16 boys and girls, and under 14 boys and girls.

4. Training for Term Two: The first week of training for Term Two will start on April 15th.

5. Change in Training Venue: For those who previously trained at Stretton Community College, please note that it is no longer available. The new training venue will be Calamvale Community College. Please check our website for updated training times.

6. Thursday Training at Runcorn State High School: Starting from April 18th, training will be one-hour later in training due to SPL games played at Runcorn State High School.

7. Movie Day: On April 21st, we will be organizing a movie day at Sunnybank Theatre. We will send out a registration for the 2 movies shortly – movies will be Kung Fu Panda 4 and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire Movie

8. On Tuesday, April 23rd, there will be parent-teacher interviews at Runcorn State High School so we are unable to train there on that day. The location for these sessions can either be outdoors or on Thursday, April 25th (Anzac Day).

9. SPL Game on April 24th: SPL will be playing at Runcorn State High School on Wednesday, April 24th. As a result, our trainings will be delayed by one hour.

10. Our AGM (General Meeting) will take place on April 28th. We will provide more information on this shortly.
