Dear Basketball Team,

I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to provide you all with an important update regarding the team for the upcoming season.

Firstly, I regret to inform you that Ryan will not be coaching the team next season. While this is a loss for us, we have many coaches who can step in and continue to lead the team effectively.

As you all know, the ethos of our team at Rockets, centres around having fun, building a strong community spirit, and making friends. We take pride in our unique initiatives such as organizing movie days, contributing to half of 3 X 3 competition fees, and even planning tournaments in Coffs Harbour and overseas. These endeavors set us apart from other clubs and truly embody what we stand for.

However, due to Ryan's departure and some players wanting to change teams the composition of the team for the upcoming season will be a little different. Please speak to the coordinator on our welcome day and he will inform you of the coach and training.

In some cases I have seen the coach leave and want to take children in the team else where. I believe most of the team have been with us for some time and we would like to see you stay with us, I am sending you all this so that there is transparency and to give everyone the opportunity to make an informed decision.

I am unsure if the team can stay the same as it currently is and if you feel strongly about staying in this team, please let us know and I will pass this information onto the new coach and coordinator.

I understand that this news may come as a surprise and I wanted to inform you well in advance to avoid any confusion or disappointment once the season starts. I hope you all have a fantastic break and I look forward to seeing you back for season two.
